I read another of your posts not long ago and you asked someone to PM you their code, which someone did. I thought that you had booked with the code. So why are you wanting another one?
As well, CODES or PINS are specific to that individual only for the CM to unlock that discount only associated with the intended party.
So are trying to get another pin off someone to use on another vacation?
Yes, time are tough, and we all would like a code, but we have to wait until we receive one, or until a PUBLIC code comes out. From your post, it looks like the code or PIN someone sent you did not work. That is because it is specific to the name and address of the person that Disney assigned it too.
I am a single mom in college full time and work part time, I too, would like to take my son to Disney this year, but will have to wait another year to save up as I have tuition to pay next year as well. Unless I receive a pin or code from Disney we will be waiting another year or longer.
Disney does not allow personal codes or PINS sent by mail or email to be transfered. In the lucky case that you do get to book with one that was not yours, I have read that it is possible upon check in if that person who the code belonged to is not with you, that your rate will return to the rack rate and you will have to pay. I have also read that if it found that people are sharing their PINS or codes that they will likely not get one again. I believe this is located in the thread entitled "Everything you want to know about Codes and PINS."
AAA does offer discounts to its members at various times of the year.
Well, good luck to you, and if you are lucky enough to get someone else's PIN or code, I hope that you are not surprised upon check in.
