That's awesome! I see by your signature you are getting married on the 25th. We are getting married on the 24th, then taking a day to relax on the 25th, then leaving for the honeymoon on the 26th. We just booked the Wilderness Lodge, should be a great trip!

One of the factors for this time of year is Easter though. Since it moves every year, the actual dates of discounts are probably more fluid than other times of the year. But I'd think if you looked at your week in terms of where it falls in relation to Easter and found the corresponding link on the chart, it could give you some idea.

To get a AAA rate you just have to call AAA vacations, or is it another special rate???

You can just tell the CM on the phone that you have AAA and want to use the AAA rate and they will apply it if you're booking straight through Disney.

Would it make it the same price booking it through disney, as opposed to going through AAA themselves if i tell them I have AAA?? I didnt know if Disney added a few dollars on for their troubles.. I really like the fact of going through Disney, and if i can get the same rate that would be great.

For a room only reservation with a AAA discount, you will get the same price with Disney as with a AAA travel agent. If you want a package with the AAA room discount then you must go through a AAA travel agent.

Congratulations on the upcoming trip with your DD! You do have to call Disney to use a code, I too have the Visa card and would LOVE for a code to come out. Dining can be booked 6 months in advance however right now they are doing an upgrade to the reservations system...I heard some restaurants are done with their upgrade though so your best bet would be to call and see what you can get on your 6 month day. If you book the room now you can call and have Disney apply the code you find to lower your price. Hope that helps!!

I dream about it, I sneak looks at this board at work, i've watched the Disney vacation DVD like 10 times - I think I may have a problem Oh, and I have decided to add another day to the trip so now we are going May 2nd through the 9th!

I just got an email PIN offer from Disney for the dates of April 19, 2009 through May 21, 2009 for a Value resort at $105 a night. Is this a good deal or should I hold out for something better? If I book it at this can I go back if I find a better rate and change it?

My very first PIN, I am so proud! I have signed up with every Disney vacation thing I can find and in the email it said "We’re delighted you’ve been making plans online with My Disney Vacation! Since you’re still looking for accommodations, we invite you to explore total Disney magic with a Disney Resort stay at an affordable rate.". So I think that is how I got it sent to me if anyone hasn't signed up on their website for this they should try it and see if they get a PIN too. It's worth a shot right?

I think I'm paying less then $105 thru AAA for April 19-26...but since you can always change your reservations if you find a cheaper rate I would jump on that!

Way back when in 1996 we booked the Wilderness Lodge for our honeymoon and had the best time. You will love it there.

Anytime, I'm glad to help! I ordered the Disney vacation DVD like 3 weeks ago and I still haven't gotten it and its giving me heart palpatations haha So if you have a problem, so do I! Congrats on adding an extra day to your trip!

I called reservations over the weekend to make a change to our reservation. The CM I spoke to indicated that the dining reservation system wouldn't be up until December 21st! How crazy!!! I'm ready to make my ADRs now!

Uhhhh, sorry , but I don't think that's a very good pin. I'm booked in April/May at a value and paying $89 a night...with AAA.
I received a pin # for almost every other date in 2009, except for April/ May! so I can't use it... That one is for 40% off a room. You might want to keep looking.

Thanks for the info! I am thinking about getting AAA just for the discount. Unless I can get free dining with my Visa and then I would go with that. So many choices! I love it!
