Welcome and here is a bit of info.
People who have a Disney Visa card from Chase have been getting some offers for discounts lately. The latest has been an offer to get the disney dining plan for free. The dining plan is an add on to a package that gives you a certain number of meals per day for each person in the room. I think it costs about 40 dollars a day for anyone over 9 years of age. So, if you have a disney visa card and are making a reservation for the dates where the discount is available you can get the dining plan for free.
Disney has offered this free dining plan at times to the general public, usually at the end of Aug through much of September, hurricane season.
As for other discounts, if you are a AAA member you can get a 10-20 percent discount on a room depending on the time of year and the resort you are staying at. You can get this on a room only reservation by calling disney directly. If you want the AAA discount on a package, you need to book it with a AAA travel agent.
There seem to be many other kinds of discounts available through out the year. Read posts here as much as you can and hopefully you will find some information to help.
