Codes for 2009?

Im new here and just trying to decipher some of the abbreviations and codes.

My question is when are the codes and discount offers released?

We are planning to travel to disney sometime in 2009 (most likely may) so when would the codes start coming out for that time.

Should I book the vacation first or wait for the codes to come out? Can I add a code once Ive booked the vacation at the regular price?

Sorry for so many questions......I find this stuff SOOO confusing

Usually starting in the fall of 2008 you'll start to see some offers and discounts for the new year. Those offers may or may not extend as far into the New Year as May.

We are planning to travel to disney sometime in 2009 (most likely may) so when would the codes start coming out for that time.

You'll start seeing some codes in late December and more public codes will come out in the first quarter of 2009.

Should I book the vacation first or wait for the codes to come out?

The million dollar question really. It really doesn't matter either way. You can book a room only reservation 500 days out.. but you can't book a package until the 2009 room rates are made public. That won't happen til mid to late August of 2008.

Can I add a code once Ive booked the vacation at the regular price?

Yes. Provided that you realize that some discount codes are only good at certain resorts or certain levels of resort so you might have to be flexible on your dates, your resort, or both to take full advantage of any offers that may come out.
