Codes are out!!

How much deposit do I have to put down.
You must deposit one night's stay. Your reservation confirmation that will be mailed to you will have a payment coupon on the bottom for the balance of any other monies due, if any, before arrival. If you don't give them a credit card for the deposit you'll need to use that coupon to mail a check back by the due date (which is pretty short). I'm sure that you could pay on a "installment" plan by mailing checks to that same address as long as you state your reservation number on the payment and send a note explaining what the check is for. Usually, except the the deposit, no money is due before arrival.

I believe the deluxe at $119 is WL.

To the person who said they want to book online - you might want to rethink that - the deposit requirements and payment penalities are much stiffer if you book online. I suggest calling Disney direct at 407 WDisney and telling them you want to book a room only reservation with the code through "Central Reservations" - that way you put down one nights deposit and you can cancel up to 5 days prior without losing any money.

Thanks so much for answering my questions. This first time I'm doing this. I'm so nervoues. Also I have another question do the codes go into the computer 12:01a.m Sunday morning. I don't go bed until after midnight would like to call early what do they open.

crazelion -- there's a code right now (see www.mousesavers.com) that you can use to book, so you don't have to wait until Sunday. Apparently there's another code tomorrow. Why not try today, before the Sunday rush comes -- sounds like a lot of papers are going to have an ad and Central Reservations could be pretty busy tomorrow. CRO opens at 7 on many days, but don't know about Sunday. According to mousesavers, both AKL and WL have standard view rooms for $119, plus tax, if available.

No one ever knows for sure when the codes go into the computer. I've been told that rooms return into the inventory at midnight if the deposit isn't paid, but that doesn't necessarily mean the room will be offered at a discount.

The Yacht and Beach Clubs (Stormalong Bay resorts) seem to be included in the discounts. Only the AS and moderates have a food court with a big variety. Most of the deluxe resorts have a take out place, with much less variety than the food courts. For some people, that's a big drawback to the deluxes. Y&B actually only has some take out food available at Beaches & Cream --- good food, but not as much selection.

Be sure you book through Central Reservations, not Walt Disney Travel Company, or you will have to pay for the trip up before you go and will have much less time to cancel (they're also real big on adding on trip insurance, which might be a waste of $$$ for you). You can pay the room off in 'installments' if you choose, or just pay the one night deposit and the rest when you arrive. Ask CRO about this. If you don't get a friendly, helpful cast member, just hang up and try again. The best of luck!

Another option, if you're really anxious about this, is to book through the travel agency on this site. They have access to all the discounts.

That code is only through Feb. I not going until August 13-19 so i need something for those dates. So I will have wait for the new code to come Sunday. If don't get the code i won't then I will use my AAA card then see what I can get. I have decide to go with Either Port Orleans French Qurter or Riverside or Carribean Resort if they don't have anything that I like will go with the All-Sports resort.

So I happy with anything under 100.00 dollars. I was going to at Value resort in the first place if I can't get a code.

I just called disney reservations and codes are definitely in effect today 11/30. I had to cancel the room ressie I'd booked through disney online. Then, I booked again for the same nights using code AJE. The price dropped from $593 to $379:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We saved 215 dollars on a 4-night stay!!!!!! What a deal!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Called this morning to change our Jan. Poly concierge garden room from AP rate to the code and saved $70 over the AP rate for a 6 nite stay! Pretty good huh?:smooth:

I was able to get All Star Sports for $55.00 a night. No problem having this code added to the original reservation. Hope this is helpful to someone!

Crazelion: The codes that come out on Sunday will not be for August. They will be for dates thru February 12. You probably won't see codes for August until spring. Disney wouldn't release codes for August this early.
