I don't have a dog in this hunt, so to speak, but I do think a few got true AP rates, and not AAA.

I just checked online with AAA - for 5/16-5/21, the rate for a garden room at the Poly is $332.10/night before tax (rack rate is $369/night before tax).

So, lillygator's AP quote of $269/night before tax looks accurate to me! Guess we'll all find out shortly. Good luck to everyone needing these codes!

I specifically asked about the AP rates when I talked to Ferris. I did not ask about general codes, as the AP rates are almost always the same or better than general codes.

I had the same problem last year, some got code rates and some don't! Well I just called my my Lawyer and he thinks I have a solid case, so I'm going to sue! I have been having the same problem evey year now, I had enough! It is not fair to give some discounts and some not! They have teacher rates for teachers, but what about the rest of us! I feel violated! I call for the same time as you and got a more expensive rate, the same dates and all! I know you will stick up for Disney but I am a AAA member, and have a Premium Annual pass for 5 yers now, and I get treated like crap! Will I had enough! I just printed out this page and gave it to my Lawyer, he is filing suit this week!

Interesting to see *when* they come out how much the discounts will be. If indeed they are $100 off deluxe, $40 off mod, $20 off value, then it boils down to dates really.

Mods have different seasons than deluxes, the mod regular season runs from 4/23-8/26 with rooms ranging from $155-175. Then the season changes to value on 8/27-10/4 and the rooms range from $139-155.

Deluxe regular season is 4/23-7/4 and then value season starts on 7/5-10/4, back to regular season on 10/4-11/25. At the WL the reg season rates are $249-465 and value season are $205-410.

For all these examples I'm not adding in tax or subtracting AAA.

It would seem to me that they would run something until at least 7/4, but if they go past that date, then the deluxes are a considerably better deal than the mods because you could technically (if the rooms were available) get a less expensive room at WL than you could at a mod after 7/4. Interesting!

I just got off the phone with a super helpful cast member named Ferris. He told me he could not offer me an ap rate at this time, but he could tell me with great assurance that those rates would be available in the morning. He told me to call first thing in the morning.

I talked to Ferris at 6:01 this morning, he seemed like a nice guy. However, he told me to call back mid-March. I called back a few minutes later and talked to Caitlyn something and she laughed and said that was the second call she had taken about AP codes.

If you do the math you can easily see that the rates quoted are not AAA rates

No pressure, we are retired and can adapt to most any situation but sure would love a good rate, free food and any other thing they care to offer. Heck, if the deal is good enough maybe we will just book in for a few months as it might be cheaper than staying home. Hey, one can wish and if I am gonna wish I are gonna wish BIG!!!
