CODES ARE OUT THRU 6/3! CALL NOW - they are out!!

I am holding, "due to the popularity of the new My Way packages" yeah right! Let's face it, they are having high call vlumes due to people wanting those codes!

Are you sure you should call? They might realize their mistake & take it away.

just got off the phone and no ap rate YET! but I booked with AAA and she kept stressing to me to call TOMORROW! In fact she had called me back when I had to go take the kids to the bus this AM- and said that she was in a staff meeting that was holding her up. Then she said TOMORROW be sure to call to check! so I am hoping she knew something and was sending me some "signal" She must have said you are smart to book this now- and be sure to call TOMORROW about 5 times.

quite honestly I was thinking the same thing, but if they were going to take it away they would eventually realize their mistake on their own and probably call. That happenned last year with the FL resident rate glitch if anyone remembers.

Anyhow,
I spoke with Ramsey Kay (I think) she confirmed my reservation for the May dates at the Polynesian with a Passholder Rate. Told me the balance due etc. I went ahead and explained to her about the postings on the internet saying the codes weren't out yet, etc. She said that they aren't, she doesn't know when they will be out, and she can't figure out how I was able to get the rates for May. I asked about a pin code, she said no - you have nothing against your name/email (gee thanks!). I asked about a code, she said she could not see one. So whether or not there was one and she wouldn't tell me??

Regardless, I hope they come out soon so I can see if there are any WV at WL available. Also, I usually get my confirmation within a day or two in the mail and it always lists the code on the bottom of the sheet. But hopefully they will be out before I get my confirmation.

May I suggest you change the title of the thread? I think people are seeing the thread title and getting more frantic, too. I know I did, especially because it sticks up at the top of the page as we're all replying and all I can see is CODES ARE OUT CALL NOW! Thanks! I am not meaning this post in any negative way I'm just trying to readjust my lack of codes being released angst.

Listen UP!! According to "Thorton" AP codes and Fl Residents codes "MIGHT" be out in the "THE NEXT FEW DAYS!!" I made a ressie for POFQ with a AAA rate of 146.00 a night!!!! SO, when AP/Fl Residents codes comes out, I can change it to that and save MORE!!!!

As stressful as this is, I'm taking this as a good sign that the codes might come out early this year. My CM also really nicely and firmly suggested that I call back tomorrow.

In answer to the question about how scarce AP rate rooms are, I, too have never had trouble getting an AP rate the five times I've done this, though I have had to choose a different resort (All Star Music instead of All Star Movies). I've always gotten a room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge if I wanted one.

There was a snafu almost exactly like this last year at this time, and I've always wondered if that was a big factor in the switch to the Best Rate program (which I hated).

Thanks for double checking for us, lillygator!! Seems this happens every time - a few lucky DISers slip through the system early - fortunately for us, they give the rest of us a 'heads up'! I had called yesterday myself just on a whim and the CM told me to call back in '2 or 3 weeks'. Any minute, hour, day now someone will post their rate and it will be 'on'!!

This year I was a little more worried about actually booking a room, I could not get CSR with a AAA rate and of other resorts I asked for they seemed to be more full than in prior years. I guess the secrets out that May is a great month to go.
I'll keep calling to see if they come out. We should try back after 1 today. They may be so sick of answering the dreaded question that they may be having that staff meeting to release them now!

your children are beautiful! Do you REALLY have four that young!!!! DO NOT BE OFFENDED!!! I have four also! We had three in 27 months!!!!! Then another 1 yr later can you say CRAZY!!!! I 'd Do it all over again! It is wonderful.

Yes, lots happening, school is out for some areas, and Flower and Garden festival, and Star Wars weekends! I guess it will be VERY Crowded! Better use FAST PASS!

Lillygator-thanks for the heads up and congrats on getting a code! How nice of you to keep calling even after you've gotten your code. You must feel really bad for all of us.

It will at least keep us on our toes now. I have to admit, I've been waiting so long that I sort of slacked on cking the boards over the long weekend. Won't make that mistake again.

We picked May b/c it's supposed to be quiet. ARgh!! I hope it's not crazy!

So it looks like $100 off deluxe, does anyone know how much it was off a mod last year? We keeping flipping between CSR and AKL. The code will make the difference.

Yes I am, we were going to do the same until we started doing these Disney trips, it is hard trying to get accomadations for six of us! the last trip we did we rented two rooms at POP. It was great ,esp having two bathrooms. We might end up doing the same, but I would like to try to book one room at WL, One time when we went we stayed at Homewood Suites, and the girls and I slept in one queen and the boys and dad in the other, they are still small. And it worked just fine. They have their own single beds now and the girls still double up and so do the boys EVERY night!!! They like to sleep together! We just bought an annual pass b/c we have heard so much about the discounts. I hope it wasn't a waste!!! Also thinking of booking two rooms at POR....we'll see. When is your next trip?

We are going from MAy 20-28 th, this is our first May trip...we like to go off season, and are planning on a late September trip this year also....is it really hot and busy at the end of May? The reason we are going is b/c friends of ours are also going that week, and it should be fun to go together, I am just wondering about crowd levels. My son loves star wars, and I just found out it was star wars weekends there, the two girls should like the flower and garden thing as well. OOOH I hope it isn't tooooo bad, according to the unofficial Guide, it looks like it could be.....but I say they can never be toooo sure. I also keep asking the cr's when I call to get a quote.....as if they would know!!!! Duhhhhh....any ray of hope helps.
