CODES are OUT!!! Just got Poly and Boardwalk!!!!

I'm so EXCITED!!!!

I orginally had an AP discount and now I just got the new AJV code rate and it was CHEAPER!!!

I received the Poly Garden Conceirge room for $256/per night including tax. I was originally paying $269/night including tax for an AP rate.

I'm also trying the Boardwalk for one night and I received the Boardwalk Conceirge room for $311/including tax. The only rates available their was water view or garden conceirge rooms. I was originally paying $244/night including tax for a standard garden view room.

Good luck everyone and keep trying!!! The codes are definately out!!!

How did you get the code applied? They tell me the codes are not effective until Dec 1.

Funny when I called they said that code wasn't available for booking until December 1st.

Hi again,

I'm staying at the Boardwalk Sunday, January 19th for one night.

I'm also staying at the Polynesian Monday, January 20 - Saturday January 25th.

I'm not sure why everyone else is having problems. I called at 7:10 a.m this morning and had no wait time and talked to CM Laura Ann and told her the dates, locations and the code that I wanted applied to my exisiting reservation.

There was no hesitation or problem with it. My only problem was I was originally staying at a standard Boardwalk room with an ap rate of $244 and there were no rooms left at the code rate so I had to upgrade and get a concierge room got $311.

I would keep trying or maybe ask for CM Laura Ann. She was very nice.

I got the same answer. Three different CMs said to call back December 1st.

I also called this morning - tried to get code AJY on Dreamaker Package - CM told me there was such a code but it was nto yet available.

The codes have definitely been delayed until December 1.

The original poster may have been booked under a Disney Club discount that's already out, or a postcard code or something -- or the agent may have managed to bypass something to use the new codes. There are several similar discounts for that period that are already in the system, but they're all restricted in some way. Still, sometimes those agents get pretty creative!

In any case, it's definitely a fluke and I would advise waiting as patiently as possible until Sunday.

I'm guessing Disney is probably running some Sunday newspaper ads and coordinating the release of the codes for that day.

Should I be concerned about my recently booked rate??? I'm not a Disney Club holder or anything.

I just read your websight this morning and called 1 407 W Disney and asked for rates and availability using code AJV.

The CM, gave me the rates and I just switched my reservation from an AP rate to the code rate.

I'm confused on why I'm the only one that was able to get the rate code???? Should I call Disney and confirm??? When I was done with booking I had the CM repeat everything back to me and it all was as I wrote in the beginning.

Do I need anything at check-in with code AJV???

Please advise.

PolyGirl,

If I were you, I'd wait until Sunday and then call to confirm the reservation. That way the new code will be active and if the agent goofed somehow, they can just rebook it with the new code.

If you call today, they really won't be able to do anything for you, as far as rebooking if an error was made.

Plus, if the first agent somehow managed to use the new codes today, before she was supposed to, calling now could just lead to them taking it off your reservation. Why draw attention to a possible mistake that might be to your benefit?

Either way, I think it would be best to double-check the reservation on Sunday. Hang in there!

Just wanted to confirm Mary's suggestion that Sundays papers might have ads for discounts. Radio ads have been running this week in Chicago urging everyone to check Sunday's papers.

Disneyworld.com has posted codes on their website. I just called and got AKL savannah view for $182.86 including tax per night!!

The disney website has the new codes and rates from 1/3/03 to 2/13/03. It does appear that if you call CRO the rates apply

As I just posted on another thread, codes are definitely in effect today 11/30. at least, the codes for room reservations listed on the disney web site. I saw this thread and decided to call just to find out what the deal was. The CM I talked to said any codes listed on disney's site have been available since yesterday. I cancelled my previous booking (through the disney site) and booked a new ressie for the same nights using the code. We saved $214 on four nights at the POFQ!!!!!!!!!! Originally, we were paying $593. With code AJE, we're paying just $379!!!!! YIPPPEEEEEEE!!!

There are thousands (literally) of people answering the reservation / ps phones at any given moment. Don't think you can ask for a particular person.

Received a postcard this week with rate code shown in the first post. It has a pin #. Sorry, don't have time to read the whole thread. Rate is $109 deluxe per night. Dates are 1/02/03-2/13/03. We won't be able to use it, since we live in Calif. Granted we have visited WDW twice in the last 2 years but we are focusing on cruises.
