Codes and AAA rate for September2006

Hi...I am totally new to all this booking buisness and totally confused, could anyone please help me or point me in the right direction

Iam hoping to make a ressie soon for 7 nights in AKL for August25th to ist September 2006. Shall I just call cro and make the ressie?? How do I find out what the AAA rate is? Or the AP rate?
Iam thinking of making it a package by buying our tickets aswell just in case they bring out free dining again for this period.

Someone plase help!!!

If you want a room only reservation, you can call cro and ask what the aaa rate is for the dates you will be there. If you want a aaa package, you need to book it through aaa. You can always book the room only reservation, paying a one night deposit. Then if a better package becomes available you can change it to a package later. Sometimes when you try to make a aaa reservation they will ask for your member number and sometimes they won't.
Unless they come out with free dining, I think it is cheaper to get a room only discount through aaa, buy your tickets from ticketmania and go with that.
As for an AP, I am not an AP holder so don't know a lot about the program
