Code for deluxe? Can I use it??

Hi all,

I'm booked via Disney Sports for the marathon weekend at PO-FQ. Here's the email from another runner who received a postcard with a code...

..."For those of you who have not yet made those hotel
...arrangements for Disney (and I am among the
...procrastinators!), I just received a postcard from the
...Disney folks offering a great deal on their Deluxe hotels
...in January. Just $109 per night - a savings of at least
...$100 each night. The discount code is (code held back)."

Can anyone let me know if this is a usable code for me or just the postcard recipient?

This is more than likely for the addressee only. Postcards usually have a pin code on them that ties them to the recipient.

Trekker is right. If this person got a postcard in the mail, they will need the original postcard upon check in. These postcards are ususally non-transferable and the code that is on the postcard tells the CRO person that it is indeed a postcard code and not a public one. The postcards do usually say non-transferable right on them.

deecee99 - be sure that you check mousesavers.com over the next week or so for discounts in January. When I looked into the Disney Sports packages for the marathon, the rate was basically full price - no real discount at all. Most disney packages are like that. You can probably do much better with a code that should be available soon.

I also received this postcard. It had some sort of individualized code on it, above where my name was. Oddly, the postcard was also sent in my maiden name, which I only ever used to book one WDW trip back in 1996.
