Code change question

I have a silly question...

I would like to book our Disney trip soon, since airfare is already booked and we know we want to stay at the Poly. However, last year I booked the Poly for the same week and ended up getting a great discount (Nov).

I was wondering...if I go ahead and book our trip now and a 30% discount comes out again for that week, can I get the ressie switched over to the lowest rate? Is this something that CM's will do without a hassle or am I better off just waiting to see what, if any discounts come around?

I don't have a ressie at the moment, but plan on making one for Nov. I expect some sort of discount will come out for Nov., that's how it's been the last couple years and a discount came out in Aug. The cm I spoke to when checking prices a few weeks ago did say that if something came out for my time I could apply that to my ressie when I asked her. So, I expect that will work. Plus, I've read others here on the disboard say that they were able to do just that when they received a pin or code or w.e. and applied it to an existing ressie! So, just to be safe I think it's probably a good idea to have a ressie in place and then when the discount comes out, just call right away and apply it. Hope that helps a little!
