Code attached to name?

I called WDW reservations last night for a trip 11/29-12/5 and the CM said I have a pin code attached to my name. :sunny:
She could not give me the code but said it was good for Oct.- Dec. She could not tell me if it was room only or a package code and that I would need to get the e-mail or postcard to redeem it. I then put a room on hold since I would really like to see the code for a price on an upgrade. I called 2 times today with no luck of them telling me. THey all said I need the code. Could I have missed the e-mail, was it not sent yet? They could not tell me. They all confirmed that I had a code but would not tell me any more. Any help out there would be greatly appreciated. :confused3

Keep calling back and explain that you feel like you may have inadvertantly deleted a PIN email. If it is in the system, they should be able to give it to you. Seems like they are being a bit petty.

that is silly..we have had a code attached to our name before and they let us use it..no problem..and we had no idea...keep calling back...and back and back..till someone helps you out..
 
What number do you call?(I know I should be able to find it, but I'm confused.)I got an email last month and deleted it, now I'm wondering if it was a PIN email. I thought it was for values only and we are staying at POR.
 

I just called and was told that I also have a code but that they had a problem with them so they had to fix them and then they could give it to me on the phone. The codes were taken out of the computer last week so they don't know what the code is except that it is good for Oct. - Dec. Hope this helps.
 
I called to check ressie tonight and the rep I spoke with didn't want to answer any of my questions and was so quick with every answer I got. :confused3 Should I call back and hope for a nicer rep? I'm getting really frustrated. This will be our first trip and I tried to tell the rep that but he didn't want to hear it.

Any luck of having a code or PIN in the system for me even though we've never been? I booked since March for 11/18-11/25 ASSports package with Dining.

Any suggestions?
 
Maybe the code has not been released yet. That would be my guess. Wait a while and see if you get it, then call back. Once you read posts here about codes being released, then call in again, if you did not receive the code yourself.

Will I be able to use a code if I get one? I have already booked my package w/dining, if a code comes will I be able to just call and get it applied? Anyone do this before. Any help/advice/suggestions are very much welcomed and appreciated.
 
Can anyone tell me what kind of Package codes were offered in the past? I searched on mousesavers.com and all it stated was Package Discounts for General Public. :surfweb: Been surfing like crazy to find answers to my questions. Like I've said before we are already booked for ASSPORTS package w/dining for 11/18-11/25, how will the codes affect me? Disney CMs are being of no help to me. Forgive me ahead of time, this is our first trip to WDW. :cheer2:

That is what I am guessing, as well, but then, why on earth would the CM mention it at all if they weren't going to let you use it? :confused3 Very odd. Last year, I *did* get a postcard and didn't think we would have a chance in the world of going, so I threw it out. Plus at the time, I didn't realize how valuable that postcard was! When I found out via the DISboards what a goldmine I had, and ran the numbers, etc, all I had to do was call and explain what happened - they gave me the discount no problem, and it wasn't a public code. I hope you have some luck!!! :wizard:
 
We're going the first/second week of December. I recieved a postcard a while back for a code on a package the last two weeks of December and just received an email for a severly discounted room for August/September.

I'm hoping from what you said it is an about to be released code (they're usually very nice about gingin you code info, as it gets "lost" all the time through mis-delivered mail and SPAM/Junk mail boxes), so the info. can't be given out. Maybe I'll get a discount for our travel dates yet.
 
When I call they have our previous trip information and I just asked if there were any codes or specials going on. We also have a house in Fl and they offered a Fl. resident at a value for $59.

Just ask for any discounts.
 
I agree, it would have been better had the CM not said anything about any future codes. Better for the CM anyway. But it seems they were being nice to give a heads up. However, if they are told not to talk about it, they can't do that without risking getting into trouble. They were probably in a position they wanted to help, but could only say so much, which may have been too much anyway.
