Code and AAA?

this might have been asked already so forgive me, but can you still get a discount code even if you booked through AAA?

Yes, I did.

BUT-- you have to choose between the two; Disney does not allow you to "stack" codes.

For us it was a no-brainer: 15% AAA discount or 40% PIN. Our AAA agent was happy to change the package for us.

I don't know that booking through AAA gets you anything that isn't available booking directly with Disney. I have a AAA membership and almost always get the AAA discount ... there is some limited availability, so I do call as soon as the rates are released and have it applied to my reservation.

Again, you have to choose 1 discount code to use. If others are announced, you just have to do the math and see which one works best for your situation.

As far as I know, PIN codes come randomly to random people. So far, no one has figured out how to make one show up in your mail.

Booking through AAA allows you to book a package, while getting their 10-20% off the room package.

If you book on your own using the AAA discount, it's room only.

And I agree: the PIN code thing seems to be a matter of luck. Try ordering a trip plannind DVD, try pricing out resort options on the reservations site. But lots of people have done these things without receiving a PIN, I was one of the lucky ones.
