I cannot correspond any code I received to any particular event. It was just sent "Out of the Blue" per se. I have always requested a DVD each year. The kids like to watch the new additions. We go once a year. Other than that, no effort on our part. I am one of those who believes it is random.
I did it several weeks ago when my husband got that email from Disney Destinations, but no pin code ever arrived after that. I also got that email in my AOL account, and accidentally deleted it before doing anything. I haven't received any pin codes in the AOL account either, so it didn't seem to matter either way, at least for me, I'm sorry to report.
I requested the video under my husbands name and booked our vacation under my name. His email gets a lot of PINs but none that we can ever use! I hope this year it will work out that a PIN will work during our time frame.
