cocoa beach where to stay

Just wondering about where to stay in Cocoa Beach. We want to spend a couple of days there after Disney. Any Ideas of where would be a nice and safe place. Thanks

Right along A1A (the road in Cocoa Beach along the beach) we have stayed at the Hampton Inn, the Doubletree, the Hilton and the Marriot Courtyard. We like to go there over July 4th weekend because we love to watch the fireworks from our balcony, and we love the east coast beaches. All these hotels are nice and they are all along the beach, with their back doors steps away from the beach path. I would say the nicest one was the Doubletree, although the Marriott Courtyard is newer and just as nice. The Hampton Inn offers a free breakfast, but it was our least favorite. There are others along the beach, but these are the ones I had experience with.

When I go with my kids I go to the Cocoa Beach Oceanside Inn http://www.cocoabeachoceansideinn.com/, it's a nice location, right on the beach and right next to the pier . The rooms are ok but they could be refurbished. But if I am going with just my DH, I really like the Inn at Cocoa Beach http://www.theinnatcocoabeach.com/Default2.asp Beautiful rooms and great breakfasts (included). Well worth the money.
