Hi, I wonder if someone (Dave??) can advise. We are staying at the Hampton Inn on Cocoa beach prior to the 7 day Halloween Cruise. As we get in quite late on the Friday we are going to use a town car from the airport to the hotel. We have booked a room deal that includes free transport to and from the port. The main reason we booked this hotel was due to the proximity to the National Car Hire location. However, I just wanted to make sure that it is walkable (and safe to do so) to National from the hotel. My husband plans to walk there while we wait at the hotel assuming that it is a very short walk.
We do usually use Avis, but as National seem a bit cheaper and we got a good deal on the room we thought we would try them.
Our flight home was initially at 13:00 or so, so we were going to just get a town car back to the airport. But they have now changed to 19:30 so we thought we could do a bit of shopping first.
