Cocoa Beach surf lessons?

Anyone know of a place in Cocoa Beach that has surf lessons for preteens/young teens?
Was thinking about setting my daughter up with these when we go this summer if possible. She is 12 (soon to be 13).

Sorry I don't know about Cocoa beach, but my 10yr old dd did the surf lessons at Typhoon lagoon a couple of weeks ago. I highly recommend it, very professional and encouraging instructors and it's a controlled environment to learn in...

My daughter did the Typhoon Lagoon surf lesson in January 2002 and really enjoyed it. Her instructors were from the Cocoa Beach Surfing School and they were great with all the students. Their website is www.cocoabeachsurfingschool.com

Over Easter my kids were to take lessons through the Cocoa Beach Surf School. The weather never cooperated though. For 3 days there was no surf, and the last 2 there was too much surf and lightning. My kids were so disappointed! The people seemed really nice there. I would schedule a day early into your vacation in case the weather is bad so you have other days as alternatives. Good luck!

Yes, it's still Cocoa Beach surf school doing the lessons at TL.

My son did both lessons three years ago and loved it! We started with the lesson at TL and then found out from the instructor at TL that they also gave lessons daily at Cocoa Beach -right near Ron Jons Surf Shop. So the next two days we went to Cocoa and did some more and he loved it! It was actually better at Cocoa and much less expensive. There were just him and 2 others participating. He has much more time with the instructor too. That was the highlight of his trip and he talks about today. He almost talked us into doing a week of surfing school there the following year while we were at the parks - but they had all that scare with shark attacks and I wouldn't concede.
