Cocoa Beach Restaurant Suggestion

We will be at Universal and Disney this August and plan to spend a day out at Kennedy Space Centre then Cocoa Beach. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good restaurant in Cocoa Beach , we are 2 families a group of 9 people, our kids are 11-16 yrs old. We would like something on the beach , not too expensive but still good!

FishLips at Port Canaveral is good and not too expensive. It overlooks the port and not the beach though. Their patio is nice, especially good views if the boats are going in and out.

Forgive me, I forget the name, but there is a large pier by the condos right on the beach with a restaurant. The view is so beautiful. It right around where Ron Jon is.

There are 2 or 3 restaurants in the Cocoa Beach pier. One is nicer than the other (more expensive, I think) - I've only been to the casual one that's right up at the end of the pier. It was fine - nothing great, but fine.

My favorite restaurant in Cocoa Beach is the 3 Wishes restaurant at the Doubletree Cocoa Beach Oceanfront. There's usually plenty of parking, because there was a hotel along Atlantic Ave. that was torn down after the 2004 hurricanes, and that parking was absorbed by the Doubletree. The restaurant is on the back side, facing the ocean. It's about a ten minute drive from the Pier.

The nice restaurant is called Atlantic Ocean Grille. You are actually eating out over the ocean. The food is pretty good -- seafood, steaks, chicken, pasta...and the view is fantastic. www.cocoabeachpier.com
