Hi guys

We were talking last night and decided that we would like to have our photos taken on the beach outside the wedding pavilion.

Although we obviously want photos of just the two of us after the wedding,

we would also like photos of us with everyone else.

So we were thinking  that it would be fantastic if we could offer a cocktail hour somewhere very close to (if not on ) the beach during the photography session. That way people could mingle, have a drink, and then pop in where needed to be included in the photos.

We would then like to hire a coach to take us all (bride and groom included)to the living seas for our reception.

What do you think?

Has anyone had something like this before?

Do you think Disney would allow this?

Thanks

What month is your wedding in? I wouldn't do this in most months because of the heat factor...your guests will be melting in say, July!

I think it would be too hot almost all the months except for maybe Dec, Jan, Feb. I live in Florida and it is a nice 94 degrees here.

I know of a bride that had her wedding ceremony on the beach at the Grand Floridian so it may be possible to host something there... I think the difficult part would be catering etc. That might be where issues arise.

florida weather is unpredictable...i got married in february and it was 90 degrees :scared1: we are from south florida though so we were used to it

Our wedding will hopefully be on May 27th at either 12noon or 2.30pm, almost booking time :woohoo:

We are not too fussy about offering food at the pre reception as there will be loads to eat at the actual reception, so we were thinking maybe just a fruit punch and an adult (alcohol) punch.
