Having run the 'search' option, Googled & posted to a couple of recipe threads w/o luck, I'm wondering if any imbibers out there are willing to share the recipe for a Sunken Treasure drink as served at WDW (AKL, Gurgling Suitcase etc)?

My next guess is calling the lounges directly, which I am totally not above doing.

After all, I am having a...

COCKTAIL EMERGENCY! :scared1:

Thats the right drink.....

1 oz Malibu
1 oz Midori
fill the rest of the glass 3/4 with equal parts OJ and Pinapple Juice and shake.

Top with sprite and float .5 oz of Blue Curacao on top.

One of our big requirements in bartending school was to be able to make a generic "fruity umbrella drink." You serve this whenever you don't know exactly how to make whatever is asked for, and need to get something out quickly. The theory was the average person will be happy enough with a generic drink, and probably won't even be able to tell it isn't the specific drink called for.

You mix a couple different fruit juices and rums and top it off with a splash of sprite. Presentation is everything - much more important that the specifc ingredents. If you happen to know what color you are looking for, use Midori, Curasao and Granadene as needed.

Ahh, everything okay up there Jean??! I hate it when I have a 'cocktail emergency'!!!:lmao:

Also, taking into account how far along in the party process that customer is :hippie:

I am all about drinks decor!
Light it on fire, stuff it with fruits, pile on the paper umbrellas, serve it in a pineapple & preferably all of the above at once! :cheer2:

i am the queen of google :rotfl:

Hi Diane!

Well....it is cold!

We do need some WDW drinks to get the blood going, afterall nothing says Christmas like sitting around a roaring fire, consuming BUCKETfulls of LadyDrinks whilst watching the workers shore up your 200 yr old foundation!

and I mean Jones Tavern, not the girls!

Here in the sticks we tend to stock a full bar, although SOME of us <cough>DH<cough>have yet to do the TimeWarp!

Oh I love the advice!! fdil was asking about a cocktail for their wedding - her colors are navy and yellow - ds loves pineapple!! I can see it now!!
:rotfl2:

Mmm...thanks! :woohoo:

Now, are you testing these cocktail recipes out in a systemized fashion, say two or more nightly? :thumbsup2

Jean
