Just wondering if the Cobb Salad is actually an appetizer size portion or would we be satisfied with it as an entree and maybe add a dessert to it.

Tbanks! :)

It's been a few years. But when we ordered it, I'm sure glad that DH and I shared. There is no way that I could have eaten it and a meal. You may need a bit more for a dinner. Maybe add dessert. Hmmm...good idea! Add the grapefruit cake! Yum!

It is huge! Especially if you add the chicken. I didn't and was still stuffed! No room for dessert

We share the cobb salad, order one appetizer each (my favorites are the tuna and the scallops) and share a piece of grapefruit cake. Yum! For me, this is quite a bit of food, but I usually order appetizers as my entree at most restaurants.

The cobb salad is definitely big enough for you to count as your entree. It is huge as said above. Very filling and if you add dessert you should be really full. LOL ;)

It could easily be a meal. Add dessert and you'll be stuffed, or at least satisfied, depending on how hungry you were.

I LOVE the Cobb from BD!!! Love it.

Haven't had it for a few years, but last time it was a full meal and one of the best Cobbs I've had. I hope this dish hasn't gone the waybof a number of excellent recipes that have cheapened over the years. If not, I recommend it very highly.

Definately big enough for an entree.

I wonder how many times a day the server hears "They chop the lettuce too?!"

I've seen way too many Cobb Salad imposters with a couple of wedges of egg, bacon bits and chicken slices.

Thanks for all the great helpful responses. Cobb Salad it is then for my entree! :cool1:

With a little dessert. :yay:

You could definitely eat it as an entree. They'll alter it for you, too, if you like. I order it without the eggs. I avoided it for years because I detest hardboiled eggs.

DH and I like to share one...then get an entree to share, or perhaps I get another app and he gets an entree...the Cobb is really good and a must do for us, although it has been awhile.

Enjoy!

The cobb salad is one of my favorites. DH likes his without eggs and I like mine without blue cheese so we split and then they bring the eggs and blue cheese for us to add on the side. Last time we didn't get entrees, but both of us ate dessert. It was plenty for the 2 of us for lunch.
