Coach Coupon

I recently received a coupon for 20% off at the Coach Outlet stores. I bought myself a nice 30th Birthday present.

Just wondering ~ how often do they send these out? Do they send them for the regular Coach store too? This was the first I'd ever received one.

I get coupons for the Retail stores 2 or 3 times a year. I got them when I shopped at the outlet stores only, but now I shop both. Just make sure they get you registered at the checkout. I'm trying to get onto the list to get outlet coupons but if you contact coach they will give you a form letter stating that coupons are random. Not sure what the magic combination is.

I get the Coach outlet 20% off coupons every couple of weeks, but I have NEVER received a retail store coupon. I didn't realize they ever discounted their retail bags. And yes, I'm registered at the retail Coach stores too.

Not that I'm complaining. I prefer to buy my bags at the Outlet stores. Rather than getting one bag, I can get three!

i think it depends where you live. how close to the store you are.
we have an outlet in williamsburg. my mom is close to it and gets coupons for the outlet .. but never the retail store.
i live in norfolk and get coupons for the retail store. but rarely get them for outlet.

i get retail 2-3 times a year..
and the coupons for the outlet i get once or twice a year. the lady at the outlet explained to me it was the end of their fiscal year and they were trying to make numbers.
i forgot my couon at home and i told them. they honored it anyhow

but they have never let me use the coupons at the opposite store

I get the regular store coupons about 4x a year. In live no where near one, I have to drive at least 2 1/2 hours for the closest one and I never signed up to get them. They always come in the mail. I have ordered many times from coach.com, so that is probably why I started to receive them. I have used all of them but 1. I travel for work and usually can hit a Chicago or Detroit store, if they don't have what I want the best part is they will order it online for you and you still get the discount and no shipping costs.
I have not received an outlet one and I have gotten some purses there for me and DD, this is much closer for me so I would love some of these too.

if a bag has big c on them they are for the retail store..
if the bag has little c on them they are for the outlet.
there are some bags coach puts out that are esclusive to the outlet.. i was suprised when i find out ..
my moms friend works for coach outlet

There are a lot of differences in the items made specifically for Coach retail and Coach outlet. We discussed this at length in another thread (Coach Bag or Not --- Update [that was the name of the thread])

The outlet Coach items aren't nearly as nice as the retail items. Yes, they're still Coach but the true "Coach Quality" just isn't there. (I don't like the "C" all over the bag --- retail or not!)

truthfully, I find that VERY HARD to believe. They have had both in all 3 coach outlet stores that I have shopped at. I have 2 different patchwork bags that have both the large c and the small c. So did they make that for both and send 1/2 to retail and 1/2 to outlet stores. I think (MO) that that is a 'story' that someone is passing along.

I beg to differ w/ you over the quality of the bags at the outlet stores. I have bought MANY there. And have not had ANY PROBLEMS with any of them. Some were made for the outlet exclusively and some where last seasons style from the retail store. And they stand behind their bags no matter where they are purchased whether their stores (factory/retail) or another retail store. I bet you could not go thru my closet and tell which are factory vs retail bags and accessories.

The bag I bought at the outlet last weekend is all Big C's.

I also read that if the serial number is xxxxx-Fxxxxx the "F" means it was made specially for the factory store & did not sell at the retail shops. Not sure if it's true or not ~ but my bag has an F on it.

I personally don't care if it was Retail or Factory as long as it's authentic. I just want a good, & pretty, bag that's gonna hold up for me.
