Several CMs this week have told me this as the current policy for "assisting"-while they can offer a hand, elbow, whatever to help, they cannot do anything that involves "push or pull", such as help pull a guest struggling to get out of a ride. Many CMs this week have offered to lend me a hand, arm, whatever-sometimes even if not needed "just to let you know if I can lend a hand",but when I asked a couple, just out of curiosity, what they can't do, it seemed that their training said not to do any "push or pull". I thought that was an interesting clarification. So that's why they won't help lift a non-ambulatory person onto a ride.
