Cmon Grandma & Grandad....Keep up! Day 7 DTD

DAY 7

FRIDAY 13th DOWNTOWN DISNEY

By now we are starting to get adjusted and we don’t wake until 8 and today we have decided to go to DTD today, we arrive early and have a lovely walk around and take the obligatory photo’s by Trex and the lego family!

we have a wander around Trex and the girls think it look’s ok sorry but girls hey ….we then head over to the Lego store and the girls both spend some time outside making a few things, and then DH goes off to explore all the Star Wars lego….at this point I’m glad we have 2 DD’s!!

We split up from my Mum & Dad and let them have a child free wander and agree to meet up a couple of hours later!, we spend ages in the shops what with my youngest DD stopping to try most of the character hat’s on, she has definitely seen too many threads on here!!………

We walk all around and have a lovely day, both our DD's see lot's of little princesses coming from BBB, I asked if they would have liked to have done this, neither were very impressed with that idea , the youngest one said maybe, we then head over to the art shop and have a chat with one of the artist’s who’s telling us how lovely England is and how lucky we are to live here (year right, with snow, rain and more rain ) We meet up with my parent’s and here we go….what shall we have for lunch “we don’t mind” “no you choose” yada yada….we want to go to the Earl of sandwich, BUT the girls want a McDonalds…so the dutiful parent’s we are (not that we want a quiet life ) we head over to McDonalds with them and my parents stay at the Earl of Sandwich. Both DD enjoyed their lunch, whilst guarding it from the birds once again…..
We then decided to call it a day and head back to the Villa and the pool and then shopping for a few more supplies!!

Tomorrow: Valentines Day and Epcot

As you know we have 2 girls,and i cannot get them away from lego,they are soooo looking forward to going in the Lego shop at DTD.They have a storage box on wheels under there bunk beds and it is nearly filled with every piece of lego you can imagine ,and why is it only my feet that find it on the floor .
Do they do something like Mr Potato Head in there??where you can fill a box for $$?.I thought i read that there was something like this .

We have a ressie for TREX and i am quite looking forward to it,the girls can't wait to Build A Dino .

Lovely day and glad Friday the 13th was safe. I think I saw someone in the Lego shop filling a beaker with Lego to buy.

Sounds like you had a great day down at DTD. We love DTD which we why we tend to try and stay at Saratoga Springs and walk down there most evenings.

can't wait to go back next year
