Had a wonderful time. We had thousands of candy filled eggs for the kids at church to hunt. Of course we talked about the "empty egg" too. Went to a friends house for a nice lunch and watched some NCAA basketball.

We're already planning Dream Job Reunion 2 for next January, perhaps some of the CMO folks and Disers could hook up for a meet? We could all share the Dream Job love!

Welcome back, Patrick! Wow - what a cool news story! It was fun to see your sweet family! I wouldn't be telling the truth if I didn't say I'm totally jealous! I put together my own little press releases and sent them to all the news stations here in Denver and...nothing. Good Morning, or is it afternoon? I just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone. HELLO! I have been soooo busy campaigning! I have been to the Irish Pubs on St. Patrick's Day, I have been to the Farmer's Markets, I had spent 3 days at Downtown Disney handing out flyers and buttons. My 4 year old has told me that she Never wants to wear that (vote for Amy Kate) T- shirt again! She wore one for 2 weeks straight! Poor kid, she does have a flare for fashion.
Everyone I have met in the last 2 days tells me that they have been voting for me.
Everywhere I have been in the last 2 days wants to know. Who were the top 3 vote getters?
The phone calls and emails keep coming in with warm wishes and, "I been voting for you!"
So sweet. It's been great making lots of new friends, too!
I mostly popped in to let you all know what I've been up to since I haven't been spending any time on this board. And I want to congratulate the other 9 candidates on running great campaigns! It has been a blast! I hope someday we will all be able to meet in person. If anyone, loyal Disboarders and Disney Fans on this thread and CMO candidates past and present, are going to be coming to Disneyland, let me know when you will be coming. I would love to run down to the Park and meet you! You all seem like wonderful folks!
I am going out of my mind with anticipation to know who the top 3 are.
I'll definately be checking in periodically here too, to see what you all are up to.

Hi Amy Kate! I am laughing my head off at your story about your daughter not wanting to wear the campaign shirt anymore! Maybe our children can be email pen pals...it will be like therapy for them to discuss everything they went through while their mother's campaigned for CMO!

My daughters probably voted for me about 30 times each...total...over three weeks! I decided it wasn't very "magical" to force them to vote (hee hee...and I truly believe all CMO candidates should adhere to child labor laws); so I left it completely up to them. They definitely preferred Webkinz and Shining Stars (and of course the Playhouse Disney website!) over DreamCMO!

Thanks for sharing all the fun you've been having, too. Yes, isn't everyone so sweet about this? It's kind of funny to get the same question asked everywhere you go...."Did you make the top 3?" Followed by "I voted for you!" During the campaign I would reply, "How many times?" Now it's nice just say "Thank You!" I know you and the rest of the top 10 can relate.

I must give my children some kudos, though. They DID pass out campaign cards on the playground, at the doughnut table after church and at the big Easter egg hunt we attended. They were definitely three good little campaign managers!

If seven people tell me they haven't been notified and three people tell me they are not allowed to talk...well, then maybe we know the Top 3. But then, again, a Top 3 finalist could say 'I haven't been notified.' My guess is Disney learned their lesson after the Top 20 leaked out and the Top 3 will be unveiled in 'early April.'"

Okay...now this is, me, Karrie talking again. I noticed Tripp is going to be "busy" over the next couple of days and Justin and Meggin are pretty quiet today, too. If you guys were notified (or any Top 3'ers who might be reading this)...we totally understand that you can't post here for a while (even if it's driving you guys crazy) & we'll support you whenever you can come back! Certainly I wouldn't know anything, but I do feel for all of you who either have or unfortunately have NOT heard anything. I know this is a hard time either way...whether you're anxiously awaiting, or fearing the worst, or privately throwing your own "party in the car".

Anyway, for some reason I feel incredibly sad today....perhaps an unfortunate reminder of the possible Fleagle candidacy. I'm not real sure. At any rate, I'm very happy for whoever the three are or will be.....and my heart truly aches for any of you who don't advance. Hugs for everyone.

For what it's worth...Ann and Cathie...I'm sorry I sang so much in my video. I guess I must not consider my voice to be "real music!" Hee hee. The official rules are probably a big part of them not revealing who the finalists are, since they have to accomplish certain tasks before being a finalist. Currently they are only "potential finalists". They will not announce Finalists until all the proper documentation etc is in place.

From the "official rules".
"In order to claim a Finalist Prize, Finalist Prize Winners must be willing to submit to a fingerprint criminal background check (to be administered by Disney Destinations) and will be required to complete an Affidavit or Declaration of Eligibility and/or a Release and Waiver and Authorization To Reproduce Likeness (collectively, the "Documentation"). The Documentation must be returned within ten (10) business days of receipt of notification containing such Documentation. A potential Finalist Prize Winner's failure to sign and return the Documentation within ten (10) business days, or to provide a satisfactory criminal background check or to comply with any term or condition of these Rules may, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, result in disqualification, forfeiture of his or her interest in the Finalist Prize, and the next highest scoring "Top 10" Finalist will become a Finalist Prize Winner."
