Some people have no problems with Smiley Central, but you're probably glad you didn't download it. A signifcant number of faculty at the online school I work for downloaded the software and had problems with spyware on their machines and slower performance.

Actually a comment that you got news but can't share it would be nice, too!

I'm just curious when Disney/CB will let the Top 10 know either the good news or the bad news...esp since March 23rd has passed. But as others have said before...the rules were very vague ... guess they forgot to have their attorneys review the rules and then the contest leaders abide by them...

or maybe they were just guidelines....

It wasn't anything against the muffin...they just looked so good that when I went to take a bite the darn monitor glass got in the way.

Oh... This week may be just as busy as last week. My brother-in-law is getting married on Friday and I'm a groomsman and the DJ. They have very eclectic musical taste so I have to go through my collection and put some songs back into rotation that I haven't played in a while, plus do another remix show for the radio station. Busy Busy Busy...

Good Morning, or is it afternoon? I just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone. HELLO! I have been soooo busy campaigning! I have been to the Irish Pubs on St. Patrick's Day, I have been to the Farmer's Markets, I had spent 3 days at Downtown Disney handing out flyers and buttons. My 4 year old has told me that she Never wants to wear that (vote for Amy Kate) T- shirt again! She wore one for 2 weeks straight! Poor kid, she does have a flare for fashion.
Everyone I have met in the last 2 days tells me that they have been voting for me.
Everywhere I have been in the last 2 days wants to know. Who were the top 3 vote getters?
The phone calls and emails keep coming in with warm wishes and, "I been voting for you!"
So sweet. It's been great making lots of new friends, too!
I mostly popped in to let you all know what I've been up to since I haven't been spending any time on this board. And I want to congratulate the other 9 candidates on running great campaigns! It has been a blast! I hope someday we will all be able to meet in person. If anyone, loyal Disboarders and Disney Fans on this thread and CMO candidates past and present, are going to be coming to Disneyland, let me know when you will be coming. I would love to run down to the Park and meet you! You all seem like wonderful folks!
I am going out of my mind with anticipation to know who the top 3 are.
I'll definately be checking in periodically here too, to see what you all are up to.

Well said AK47! I'm going to ask Ricky if he'd be willing to invite the CMOer's over to our private board so everyone can stay in touch. We're already planning Dream Job Reunion 2 for next January, perhaps some of the CMO folks and Disers could hook up for a meet? We could all share the Dream Job love!

Well I didn't know that you wanted to be a DJ... *compiling list* As sit here anxiously waiting for a call, or e-mail, or something in the mail, I decided to put together a list of things I will do as CMO... if I make that far. My first order of business: change the name to Chief MAGICAL Official... heehee... And then my second order of business will be to make Big Thunder a DJ... actually, you can come hang out with me in the studio anytime. I'll just need your full name, address, birth date, social, and you'll have to submit to a state and federal background check, drug test, blood test, sign an afidavit of confidentiality, and sign over your first born...

Seriously, I'll see if you can come sit with me during my show and I'll video tape you begging for Jonas Brothers over and over for Susan. I can't thank you enough for all of the support and as Ann said for "Believing" in me.

Man, I remember so well the anticipation of waiting for that call and the excitement when I actually got the email. I called Tim Dunne and he thought I was pranking on him again.

We had tickets to see Jonas Brothers in Dallas and someone in the church's Mom passed away, so we forfeited the concert in lue of care for the family.

You download it and it adds a shortcut to your Internet Explorer and IM software to use. If you want to post on here you have to select the one you want and "Click Here" for the 2nd option (after you click on the smiley) about HTML code. Then copy only the line that starts with "http" and ends with ".gif". Hopefully that doesn't thoroughly confuse anyone.

Last year the finalists that didn't win the prize basically found that out by accident. I was bopping around all the youtubes trying to find the finalists, there was never any type of gag order or anything. I would find someone that said, "Have you heard anything?" I would let them know I received the email and that's how they unfortunately learned they didn't win. One pirate got very mad at me thinking I was rubbing it in, which wasn't the intention.

Wow, part of the wedding and working after. Are you going to be able to set the music on autopilot for a little bit so you can get out there and shake your tail feather? (obvious reference to your avatar)

Be sure to add "Cotton Eye Joe" by the Rednex to the rotation. Nothing says eclectic like a Swedish band singing a country like song with dance remix overtones.

Don't forget to throw in the Hamster Dance for the kiddos.
