...Stay tuned for the announcement of the three finalists early April, then come back mid-April to find out more about the final CMO competitions at Walt Disney World® Resort."

*Language from "Official Contest Rules & Regulations":
"Finalist Prize Winners will be notified by e-mail and U.S. Mail on or about March 23, 2008."


So, do you think it's safe to assume that the Top Three have/will be notified "on or about" today and that they'll then enter a "cone of silence" until the official announcement date in early April? (Yikes!)

Wow! I truly wish we didn't have to wait so long for answers!

Well, let's just say that the "on or about" date is correct as per the rules....maybe, just maybe, if one of our Top 10er friends comes in here and HAS been notified and simulateously silenced and doesn't mention anything to us (reminiscent of our dear Justin during the 20 to 10 stage), then maybe we could logically deduce IF any of "our" Top 10ers made it???

One more unknown known/or unknown unknown...not sure which...but every other time, they have found out before the "on or about" date. If that happened again this time, then that means they found out before the voting ended!

Hey, Cat: 'Just noticed that you recently checked in, so I thought I'd respond to an earlier post. ('Sorry it took so long. I've been a bit MIA for the past few days -- but sporadically lurking. I had to get the family packed for our trek to my parents' house for Easter and Spring Break. For me, packing is always a beast... )

ANYWAY... Mr. DISgeeks and I love the new slogan! ("Have crayons will travel!" )

Oh, and he's perfectly happy with his cat-o-tar "as is." His biggest request was for a green background (his favorite color!), and you addressed that immediately!

Okay, I'd better get to bed, 'cuz it's going to be an early morning!

I can't wait to learn the results of the Top Three!

Now that the co-presidents of my fan club have approved my proposed slogan Have crayons will travel I better get moving!

I need a new graphic for my signature, perhaps a theme song, a video, you name it!

Hey remember early in the original DISer's for CMO...someone named CKeene was reporting her/his investigation into who was top 20?

Anyone know what time the voting actually closed?
Looks to be between 6:38 and 7:00 (as the disboard clock seems to be about 14mins behind) and about 492,000 votes +/-.
Thats about 6,500 votes after the "official" close.
In the words of Ricky Ricardo..."Youve got some 'splaining to do Lucy!"

The voting "ended" at around 6:00 am CST. I kept hitting refresh on the CMO site and I posted as soon as I discovered it. According to the time of my last post this morning, that time should be close.

And thanks to madbrad76 (another new buddy) for keeping the count going all night

It was no problem keeping track of the votes while everyone was dreaming of chocolate Easter bunnies. When this contest is finally over, we're all going to have to make sure to keep in touch.
