CM told me I can't book Nov 08 until this Oct

Is this correct? I called to check the earliest I could book for Thanksgiving 2008 and the CM said I needed to call back in October. He said I could only book a year out.

Should I call back? I'm doing the whole she-bang with tickets and DP added on to my room. I am saving for CR tower, MK view.

I've heard room only reservations are available earlier than packages (is this correct?) If so, I'd book the room only ressie for your time period as soon as it's available, and then add the tix and DDP once it's available. Though I could be totally off on that...

I may try back in August then? That would definitely be within 500 days. I know that Thanksgiving is a busy time, so I want to ensure I get what I really want. This trip would be a dream for me and something I'm working very hard to save my money to do.

I do vacation rentals in SWFL and we book a year in advance...rarely do we do longer than that.

I have called to make ressies and been told by the CM that you can only make them 365 days out, too. I always just thank them, hang up & call back til I get a CM that knows the 500 day "rule". As you mentioned, Thanksgiving time can fill up fast, so I would definitely call as soon as you are allowed.

We are doing the 7 day land and sea (but coming in a day early) in Nov, 2008, and I booked 2 months ago!. However, last week I called Disney ressies to see if I could get a cheaper hotel rate by booking direct, and she said Nov 2008 rates weren't out yet, and to check back next month (which would be July). So I'm sure July is right for you! have fun. Let me know what the rates were, as I am interested to compare the price I got. We're staying at POFQ....
