I'm not familiar with CM supplies. I usually just go to Michaels, or local scrap stores. How do CM compare to other supplies? Are there any of their supplies that are an absolute must, that you wouldn't buy from the stores; quality, price, etc? THANKS for your feedback.

It's a matter of personal preference. I started with CM stuff and have switched over time to stuff I can get at Michael's or the Local Scrapbook Store (LSS). I think they make really nice albums but I prefer top-loading ones. I liked their tape runner but ordered a couple that gummed up on me so I stopped getting them. I also really liked their corner rounder. I did just recently get the personal trimmer and I think I'll really like that for smaller pics and paper, instead of using my 12" cutter. I had trouble using their shape cutter so I prefer Coluzzle or Sizzix. But others really like it. Like I said, it's really about personal preference.
The nice thing about their stuff is the guarantee. If an album falls apart they'll replace it, etc.
I had a friend that was a CMC and had monthly crops. We could try out all her tools. I was never impressed with the stuff, but looking back I realize the blades were worn out and probably needed to be replaced.

LOVe the CM circle and oval cutters, but the previous poster is correct, when the blades start wearing, the cuts aren't as nice. Love the CM metallic pens - I have an other brand that looks identical but doesn't flow nearly as smoothly. That's basically all the CM I use.

Love the CM cutting system, punches, markers, stickers etc. Their albums are very nice, but for now I use top loading ones. I started out only buying stuff from Michael's, JoAnns, scrapbook stores etc. But as time goes on I find myself using more, and preferring the CM products. They are pricier then stuff at craft stores, and at first I hated buying the CM things when you can't use a coupon like at Michael's etc. Just like CM products as a whole! :cheer2:

I LOVE CM products! So much I just be came a CM consultant last month. I've been scrap booking for 7 years and tried all kinds of product and always come back to CM. Nancy

i love cm custom cutting systems, their albums, and their pens. as for paper I tend to buy from lss.

Overall CM products are of excelent quality. I have found the with the CM tape runner..you can get a like product at the craft store for less...but you also get less product in the package....(checking the footage). The cutters are great...and yes you do have to replace the blades after ALOT of use...but like any sharp cutting tool...the blade will dull over time. Plus they (CM products) have an excelent gaurentee. And most (not all....but alot) of CMC will do "sales" or discounts at differnt times. I totally love most of their products...CORE products. I'm not to keen on the papers, stickers, or die cuts...but the albums, tools, and adhesives...are WONDERFUL

I love CM cutting system, corner rounder and album....that's about it. The rest I'll buy at scrapbooking store or Michaels.

I love CM stuff, but I shop at Michael's too. I used to sell CM and still buy albums, paper and new stuff from my old upline. Someone else said the blades get dull on the cutting systems. It's true, but it only costs a couple dollars to buy a new one. CM stuff, IMO, is much better quality than other stuff I have.
