CM question

I am not a cast member so I cant ask this there but I just have a simple question.

My cousin is a CM she works with the college program recruiting for them and works annually for them at disney still. She said she can get me a friends and family rate but the site was down yesterday when she tried. I am impatient waiting for her to get back to me and dont want to hound her. I am trying to do as much planning myself. So my question is does the discount include ticket or is it just the hotel? I told her I was planning on doing the meal plan. I am just trying to figure out if the new play stay dine would make it cheaper.

I believe that would be room only but then she could get discounted tickets separately. I do not know that for sure though, and it would be best to ask her because I think they offer different things for CMs at different times (sometimes they can add dining from what I have read at various times on the boards).

She actually just got back to me. She said she thinks she can add the dining plan. I may use this and get florida resident tickets. If I could get the meal plan that would be awesome but I am not sure.

If you do a CM room discount you can only add the discounted CM dining plan. The CM dining plan is released in 1 1/2 month or so increments. They only do the quick service or DDP, and sometimes it's just one or the other, and every now and then it's no DP available at all.

If they don't release the CM dining plan, you won't be able to add it with a CM room discount at all. Depending upon your dates you could just book the room with the CM room discount, and if they release the DP for CMs toss that on later bearing in mind the CM discounts are the same as the broad offers and you could possibly end up changing resorts if they aren't allowing it where you are.
