We are arriving on a Saturday and staying outside the World for that night, checking in to OKW the next day. Would Saturday night be a good night to do Chef Mickey's? I thought it would be a great way to start our vacation without taking time from the parks or OKW (once we get checked in there). How do we get there -- i.e., drive to the Contemporary? Or do we have to take the monorail, and if so, where do we get on it? I am assuming it doesn't cost anything to park at the Contemporary. Is that right? I feel really dumb, having no clue on this.

Don't feel dumb - if you've never done it, how would you know? :) Anyway, yes, you can drive right to the Contemporary and park there for free. You could also park at the TTC and take the monorail from there, but there's no real reason to unless you just want to ride the monorail. :) You didn't mention what time you'll arrive - make sure you build in a lot of cushion time before your Priority Seating, "just in case." Depending on when during the year you're going, it may or may not be a big deal to miss your PS time, but better safe than sorry.

Thank you so much!! Just couldn't figure out if is is inside the parks, requiring us to do it on a day we are in the park, like if we were doing CRT or CP.
Thanks bunches!

We always do Chef Mickey's on our arrival night......it just puts you in a super fun mood and starts the trip out with lots of laughs and fun. The food is pretty good too! We love to see mickey on our first night!
