CM old 12x12 items???

Hello,

Does anyone know if CM still offers the old 12x12 pages and protectors? My friend who is a consultant (just for hobby) is planning on ordering but I don't know when. I'm hoping they'll still be available when she does.
I see on the website this morning they only show the new true 12x12 items. So that got me wondering if anything is still available???

I believe they are still available as they are phasing them out slowly. If for some reason she can't get them (but I am pretty sure she will be able to according to my CM consultant) you can always find them on ebay.

I think it will be fazed out over the next year to 18 months.

Yes, you will have 18 months for transition. You can find the old on the website but they are making it easier to find the new since that is what is promoting.

They are still available. I just placed an order online. If you go to the traditional scrapbooking section and click on retiring/previous sizes, you can find all the coversets, pages, and page protectors. You should also know that the old pages will fit in the new coversets.

I will be ordering a new album really soon!! It will be so much easier!!

My CMC said to order early because a lot of people are putting in orders and the supply is limited, but it should last the next 12 months. I have 6 old CM 12x12 books so I have to figure out how many pages I'll need to complete them, plus page protectors, and put in my order. There will probably be a big secondary market on e-bay too. So maybe if I order too much I can sell them.

Thanks for the replies. She just happened to call and I told her about all your posts. She planning on ordering in a couple of weeks, so hopefully we'll be fine. Except I have a very large order to finish all my albums up.

I'm in the Uk but I presume it will be the same.....

The old stock is "retiring" (which means they will continue to reorder stock until the "deadline" of March 2009) However, the coverseta and perfect fit paper will gradually go "while stocks last" (when its gone, its gone). Over here 7x7 cover sets are already WSL.

When are the new true 12x12 protrait sleeves going to be available? Also, will they have 8x8 portrait sleeves?
