CM merchandise questions

What I'm trying to sort out is which items are for sale, which are MKC and which are gifts for attending a class or having a set amount of sales.

I know that the Circle Maker, Mini Circle Maker and the Square Maker are for sale in the 2003 catalog - which is the only one have.

What about the heart makers, hexagon or any other makers?

Of the Cutting System pieces I have the Ovals, Circles, 12-inch pattern, hexagon, pentagon and the big portrait size oval.

What about the jazzy, celestial and geometric ones?

My previous consultant and I were good friends and she used to give me a little break which I greatly appreciated. We moved and my new consultant doesn't have any 2004 catalogs in and said on Friday that she doesn't know when she'll get any either. I hope this isn't a sin to admit ... but I'll probably be getting some of my things off ebay if they end up being cheaper (shipping factored in). I don't use enough CM materials to qualify for MKC in one year nor have I met enough people here to even hold a class yet.

I knew I had a great CM but I just didn't realize how great until we moved and she's too far away now.

Hi There!

I am a retiring CMC, but I can answer your questions for ya-
Of the makers, the only one that is a MKC gift is the mini-square maker. All of the rest you can buy. And note that the mini-hexagon and heart are now only $16 instead of the $20. The regular sized makers are still $20.

Of the cutting templates, the jazzy and the one you have with the oval/hexagon/pentagon are the MKC gifts (basically the MKC ones are pink and the ones for purchase are the translucent blue). Celestial and Gemstone are for regular purchase at $14 a pop. Jazzy includes a big heart (Gemstone comes with 2 hearts) a starfish (Celestial comes with a regular star) and I think a big oval.

2004 catalogs came out just this month and if your new consultant isn't very active, she probably won't get any for awhile. Maybe you can go to the CM website and do a search for a consultant in your area- they only list CMC's that do quite a bit of business every month- I'm sure one of them would love to send you a catalog.

Too bad you didn't post this sooner...I had some of those templates and makers that I was trying to unload. I think the only ones I have left are the regular square maker and regular hexagon. Send me a PM if you are interested in either and I have some other merchandise as well that I am trying to liquidate; CMC's are forbidden to put stuff up on ebay for one year after they deactivate, so I'm just sitting on this stuff for now.
