CM Made all The Difference!

I just got off the phone with a CM who took a tangled question and made it all understandable and got me the best deal I could get! She was wonderful, patient, and figured out all the options for me and then let me choose which would work best for me. I had originally booked the BC for 4 nites then read here on DIS boards about the evening safari available to AKL concierge guests. Well this is my first trip to BC where I have wanted to stay forever, so wasn't going to change that, so a very dense idealess CM had changed my ressie by adding a day at AKL at the end of my stay so I could keep my park hopper and just add a day - though I was not able to have dining that day as it was a room only ressie at AKL.

See - this is already confusing and I have just started! Ok then when reading the boards I began to get worried about whether I had made the right choice to pay the extra money for concierge when I have always gone standard in the past - and the Safari is expensive too. So I kept digging and found that the AKL concierge is considered by many to be the best concierge level in the World. And in making my schedule out it appeared it would work really well if I changed BC the last day there to AKL as well thus splitting my stay - BC for first 3 nites and then AKL for last 2.

But I was worried about losing another day of dining - had already lost one day when I made the room only ressie at AKL. I love the signature restaurants, so wanted the max number of dining plan days. I also didn't want to lose my 6 day hopper and have to buy two hoppers just to get the dining plan. This was getting way too complex for me: and now I had to explain it to a CM and hope she could help me out with it. Well the last CM I spoke with would not have been able to help.... but I have had good experiences in the past so was hoping.

Well I must be just the luckiest person in the world This incredible CM came on who -after I politely asked that she not cancel any reservations before we figured it out (per disboard suggestions) not only understood what I was trying to do but actually figured it out every which way but Friday and then talked about which option offered what and what it cost and how that compared to the other options! I was blown away.

If you are curious about how this worked out, what we did was cancel the room only ressie at AKL Concierge and rebook a two day concierge AKL with a base day ticket for $71 and two days dining plan. I kept my 6 day hopper at the BC with pool view and 4 day dining plan and cancelled one nite there which brought me down to 3 nites there with 3 days dining and a six day hopper. All in all I paid $179 extra to upgrade from BC pool view 4 nites and AKL concierge 1 nite with 6 day hopper and four day dining to 3 nite BC pool view and 2 nite AKL concierge with 6 day hopper, one base park ticket, and five days dining. She told me I could pay another $60 to make the hopper none-expiring, but am not sure when I will be back so declined that. Whew!

So guys I am dancing And I have to tell you I could never have figured this out without the help of this great CM!!! And these boards. I am already feeling the magic!
