CM breakfast without a PS

I decided at the last minute to try for a PS for breakfast at CM. All that was available was 7:20. With an infant, toddler and preschooler, there is no way on Earth we can get there that early.

I was thinking about trying to get in as a walk up. Has anyone had any luck?I'd hate to waste time going to CR and not getting in.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. An infant, toddler and preschooler and what happens if the wait is an hour or longer, or if your kids can SEE Mickey but there are no seatings at all? People who have luck generally show up as serving is starting - and since you've already said you won't be there then, I think it will be tough.

I wouldn't do it either. You can continue to call for a PS up until your trip, and even after you get to WDW. But if you don't get one, I wouldn't go. You would probably either have to wait a long time or even be turned away altogether, and you and your children would be very disappointed. Do you have any other character meals planned? There are other good options, including dinner at CM if you have your heart set on that one.

I wouldn't do it and really don't think that you would be seated anyway. I would just keep calling and hope for some cancellations or maybe try for a different character breakfast to see if they have any tables left.

PS is really just first available seating. If you think you can get there close to 7:20, within 15 minutes or so, I'd go for it.

I decided to book the 7:20. If worse comes to worse we can always cancel.

CM has become a tradition since DS was bor. We decided we weren't going on this trip since we're only going for a few days. Last night looking at all the pictures on the fridge and the kids growing each time, we decided we had to go.
