CM attacked?

Thanks, I should have known that it was already being discussed somewhere. And, no, I'm staying far away from that thread.

An admin can feel free to close this one.

The attack happened outside Disney property, and therefore should probably have never even been discussed on these boards, given how some members are so quick to troll the forums with their condemnations of "big, bad" Disney, even without any foundation for such condemnation. (There was a rape in Boston last week... why was it not discussed on these boards?)

I think it may have been of interest on a Disney board since the alleged attack took place within a fenced complex, used by Disney for housing its International Program CM's, was an alleged attack BY 4 CM's, ON another CM. Those three factors maybe probably spiked interest here. :confused3 The rape in Boston apparently had no Disney 'ties' nor Disney 'connection', I am thinking.

It's a community board--either story could have been posted.

Change the business to Publix and the whole story would have changed. It would have been just people who happened to work at Publix (if that mattered at all) as opposed to Publix employees.

Disney is being tied to it for obvious reasons--but is being villified for lack of whatever for the wrong reasons.

It did not happen on Disney property and unfortunately is a crime that could and has happened on college campuses nationwide. (Doesn't excuse it).

Indeed -- for no reason, really. That was my point.
