Clueless on iPod Touch

This may be a dumb question but can you get on the internet with the ipod touch? (facebook) I am thinking my dd's both one for Christmas. They both love getting on facebook and facebook games and always going to youtube listening to music.

never a stupid question =) Yes theres a facebook app. You need a wi-fi connection to get online

They will not be able to play any of the facebook games though, since most of them require flash player.

But yep, they can get on facebook, post messages, play you tube videos, etc.

I was on the itunes website and was going through the games and farmville was one of the games listed. Both my girls play farmville on facebook so if they were to add farmville as one of games will it be a new game or will they be able to transfer their already existing game?

They can play the existing games. But will need internet connection to update.

I am just now able to get back online after a major virus that took days to get rid of. This is what I have learned after contacting several stores and Apple.

The latest version coming out is not different at all except for the color (white) and the price (199). I was told the inside will be exactly the same, the software will be exactly the same. Whether I got one last week or will get one next week it will be the same and I will have to download the newest available stuff. Oh boy. Now I am forgetting what he said I would have to download but my DS12 knows. That is why they are not calling it version "5."

I guess this explains why everyone I talked to was so confused...it's not really a new version coming out.
