Hi all! Planning our first trip for either mid Oct-beg Nov of this yr so I realize I've got some time...but, when it comes to the ADR's I need some help! :confused3

I've got a list of some places to try via my friend who has been to disney and they were her recomd. But what I have no clue about is what time frames to choose!

Esp since I don't even know where we will be what day yet until magic hrs come out.

SO, can anyone who has done this many a time give me some clues as to what sorts of time frames I should think of looking at???? And can you change the times should you need to???

Thanks everyone! So impatient!! I so just want to book the whole trip right now so it's done and can't yet!! Why must they wait so long to post things for the end of the yr travel!!!!:cool2: Excited too....can't wait to get tickets and etc as it gets closer to end of yr so I can really surprise the kids!:woohoo:

Hi Tara! Here's what I'd recommend. As soon as park hours are released for your dates, plan an itinerary or touring plan, for each day of your visit. Then depending on which days you visit each park, you can determine where you'll be dining. For example, if you plan to be a MK for early morning EMH on Day One of your touring, you could schedule a Chef Mickey's character breakfast at the Contemporary. Alternatively, you could do a Crystal Palace breakfast right inside MK. Keep in mind that you may make ADRs inside the park before park opening. Don't stress too much about ADRs. Go to allears.net and check out menus. Determine what you and your family would like and then take it from there. Make your ADRs as soon as you decide your touring plans. Have fun planning!

I would agree with what PearlySwan says. Get those EMHs, design a touring plan, then call and see what is available.

Keep in mind not to schedule an early ADR for a breakfast the morning after EMHs. Believe me - you'll not want to get out of bed too early if you are at MK (or another park) late.

You have plenty of time. We are going in April and just finished our ADRs last weekend. We were surprised that we had no troubles whatsoever getting reservations. 2 years ago - it was a mad house trying to get into places, so it is just a crap shoot.

Good luck!
