Club Villian In October times

So i have Club Villian booked on October 22nd at 8:30 pm. HS closes at 7 that night. I will be at Animal Kingdom that day. With so much time between when the park closes and when CV starts what do you do? just roam around? Should i get there for the 730 showing of fantasmic first? maybe watch the fireworks? I assume the rides will be closed.

They will extend the hours those nights, but fireworks for Fantasmic would be a good way to pass the time, you can always hop in an attraction line right before closing too.

so there will be rides running in between 7 when the park closes and 8-830 when i show up for CV?

Two different things here:
1. As long as you are in line for something before the park officially closes (so hopping in line at 6:55 ahead of a 7pm close), you get to ride the attraction.
2. But in your case, I do not believe DHS will close at 7pm that night, the hours for the park will be extended at some point in the next couple of weeks.

would it only be on fridays and saturdays because of CV or all days?

Disney has only extended park hours for the first week(?) of October. It's been extending hours about 4-6 weeks out, we should changes for most days at DHS and MK, and possibly at AK.
