Club Villain is awesome!!

For anyone who would just like to see this awesome venue,Club Disney is operating this week.:)

How was the food? Is it a full dinner? We would absolutely love to attend but dang. It's pricey!

It's been hands-down the best $$ I've ever spent on a special ticket event (and we've done 5-6). It's food, dessert, alcohol. Honestly, it's more about the entertainment and character experiences than the food.

This even sounds great, but I was wondering if it would be worth it for us as vegetarians who also don't drink? The menu really only offers meat dishes, except for the desserts. The entertainment looks amazing, but if you could only eat the desserts and drink soft drinks would it still be worth it in your opinion? Thanks!

Yes, IMO. I could see myself paying that much to see a show here in Chicago, and this event is at least as enjoyable. To some it might not be worth it. To me it's about the experience and really not about the food or drinks.

Personally I thought the food was "just ok" anyhow. Not bad. But not the reason I'd plan this event. In your case, I'd eat light before the event. Then eat the available green beans, carrots and potatoes from the meals (leave the meat) then clean up on desserts. But you'll find you'll be having so much fun dancing and meeting villains that it won't matter!! Just don't place too much emphasis on the meal (as most of it is indeed non-vegetarian) and you'll have an amazing night. I drank 2 IPA's (beers), my wife had water and my daughter had a soft drink. So drinks were far from a deciding factor for us, as well. In fact we'd have had just as much fun without alcohol altogether.

I don't recall seeing any carrots or potatoes. The green beans are crisp and chilled (not bad IMO, but I point it out because it might not be what comes to mind for some when thinking of green beans). That said, I could have filled up on some of the other non-meat items that they did offer: creamy polenta with corn, kale and collard "slaw" (this was more like a salad, and had cranberries in it - so good!), rice, and bread pudding. Plus the desserts! There were so many, and they were really good - nothing like what's offered at the Wishes dessert party.

Also important to note - the food and drinks are spread out through the room. Main menu items are mirrored on both sides, but desserts and specialty drinks are different and themed to the villains seated on each respective side, so make sure you wander around or ask a CM if you can't find something you're looking for. On our first visit, I completely missed the polenta, and didn't know that there were different desserts until some were already gone.

I had a wonderful time at Club Villain and I was there solo.

My only issue was where my table was at people kept blocking my view of the show. They would walk up, take pictures and then stand there for awhile so I couldn't see much or take pictures without getting up myself. That was the only frustrating part and it's not Disney's fault.

My wife and her friends went last month and said it was the best time they've ever had at Disney.

In May 2016 with DH and DS and we saw this for the first time and loved it. We did the 5PM show and came away feeling that it was worth every penny (we don't have AP or DVC discounts.)

Saw it again in early Dec 2016 (on a solo trip) for the 8PM show and enjoyed it again. Had an awesome table-mate (don't think it would be near as enjoyable without that) and the show was still as awesome. For those solo attendees it's definitely worth it --- don't be shy, life is too short! If you're seated with someone/another group that you don't know --- chat and you'll find that most are also disney fans so you'll have tons in common.

I would love this if it was available the next time we come back. We'd definitely attend again.

That's a bummer. All of the tables have a pretty good view, AND you get to take photos one-on-one with the main villains anyhow. We got really lucky - our party was maybe 3/4 full and our fellow party-goers were rather sedate. Some people will always find a way to be inconsiderate - it's a shame when we have to run into these people, especially at WDW, which seems to be kind of a magnet for them. ;) I hope it didn't impact your experience too much.
