Dancin’ and Chillin’ with Disney Villains
Sunset Showcase loudly presents Club Villain, a frightfully fun dance-and-dine event—debuting January 16, 2016!

This spellbinding evening features decadent New Orleans delicacies like tender beef striploin rubbed with herbes de Provence, Voodoo sticky “pig wings” with citrus gremolata and spicy shrimp sautéed with Andouille sausage, tomato, okra and onions over creamy polenta.

Trick or treat yourself to fiendish cocktail concoctions—specialty alcoholic drinks plus beer and wine—hilarious stage-show numbers and up-close encounters with Disney’s most dastardly doomsday divas. Mix and mingle with mysterious Maleficent, hilarious Queen of Hearts, the delirious Evil Queen and the always fur-fetched Cruella De Vil—and wicked jams from our house DJ!

Tickets to Club Villain can be purchased for $99 per person, tax and gratuity included. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 90 days in advance, either by booking online here or by calling (407) 939-3463.

This is targeted right at me - I love my villains. But there's not a chance I'd pay $99 for this. With as much that's not available anymore at DHS (animation building, one man's dream, etc), this should just be a FREE event (minus the banquet - so just a dance party along the lines of the Disney Jr dance party.) Everything just feels like a giant money grab these days.

I agree with you, last years Villains party was $67

No kidding - you think they'd be cutting DHS prices here very shortly...

I was considering this for my almost 5 yo as she loves villains, but it really looks like it is geared towards adults.

I've said for a long time I'd LOVE a Villains meal at Disney. I think it would be hugely popular. But I was thinking along the lines of all the other character buffets.

But spending $400 on one dinner for my family??? Nope. Not gonna happen. No way.

Is it going to be served family style? Is that what you get from the description?

I just booked this for DH and I on the first night, Jan. 16th. I'm very excited!!! I too love my villains so I'm hoping it's good. $99 isn't cheap and I don't think I'd do it if the kids were with us for that trip, but for 2 of us I'm willing to give it a shot. I'm also well aware that going on the first night is a crapshoot-doesn't give them a chance to tweak anything and of course I won't read any reviews. On the other hand, I kind of like the idea of being one of the "first" people to try something new. Fingers crossed!

Seriously considering this. My DD is 12 so I think it would be fine for her. It's a little pricey but we have never be able to do a villain themed event so this might be right up our alley.

Called dining but they didn't have anymore information than website. Does anyone know the answers to these questions? 1) how long does the event last? 2) is alcohol included in the price? 3) is this treated like an ADR than can be cancelled in the specified time frame or is it non refundable when purchased?

I would assume that it is just like the dessert parties with alcohol and it is is included. Usually if alcohol is listed in the description and it doesn't say it is an extra charge, it is included. The terms and conditions when I booked said it was a 24 hour cancellation policy. You get a refund if you cancel more that 24 hours before the event. I don't know how long it is, but that wasn't really a concern for us so I didn't look into it.

I look at it this way:
Other dinner shows on property come pretty close to this price and don't include alcohol or character interaction. For me, with this theme, it's worth it to do once. It isn't something I would book every trip.

It sounds like the Villains' Soiree at CRT during MNSSHP party last year, but with dinner instead of just dessert, some extra show numbers instead of things like everyone getting a cup, candy and glowing poison apple ice cube, but no castle. The Soiree was really expensive, but we did love it. We are thinking about skipping WDW next year for the first time in 9 years, but if we go, this is definitely something we would splurge on and book. I wonder if they will have any kind of separate kid's menu. Doesn't look like they have a kid's price at least from the article. We would probably do it with DD even if she didn't eat much of the stuff because she loved the Soiree.

Love, love, love the Villains so I booked this for my family of 4 in February. Hopefully more info. will be available as we get closer.

They used to do a villains meal at 1900 Park Fare. I remember reading of how the hag from Snow White would run up and down the aisles, and the Queen of Hearts stalked around bellowing, "Off with their heads!" I think it only lasted for a couple of years; I guess it was just too scary for the little ones, although I personally would have LOVED it.

I just spoke with a CM and she said it will be a buffet with several stations. The menu has yet to be finalized.

The dinner shows run in the mid $60s, and do, in fact, include unlimited beer, wine and sangria. The BBQ includes characters. The others include almost 2 hours of live entertainment. So this party comes with a pretty hefty upcharge.

If we were going when it was operating we would book it. I imagine there are probably details not released and even if that isn't the case we would do it. I'm a big fan of the villains and would love the chance to get to mingle.
