I'm saying farewell to my platinum (which probably means farewell to club in general). I'm really glad I did it, and have enjoyed it. But it doesn't make sense given the races I've done this year and the probably 0 I'll do next year.

Mouse is still gonna get my money with MNSSHP and D23 shopping events dropping this week but I'd rather treat myself with something I know I'll use (a nice hotel stay, multipass, etc.) than keeping Platinum just to keep it.

Glad I made the decision, but still a little sad

Hi - I am gold and hoping to update to platinum! I know today is the first day that Gold members can renew. I haven't gotten an e-mail yet, but the instructions from the e-mail I got on April 24 seem to say that I will see a link in my runD dashboard:

"At the start of your renewal window, you'll be able to access a renewal link via your MyDisney Account. Simply log in to your account, then look for the "View Invite" link under Important Reminders on your Dashboard. Each Member will have the option to continue at their current Membership tier, or select a higher or lower tier, pending available inventory. "

BUT, I don't have anything called "Important Reminders" on my dashboard, or can i see anything about renewing club RD. Today is the first day of my renewal window, and I thought it might pop up at 10am but still nothing! Help!

I don't have anything either. Another group I'm in, some people have already had it pop up in their dashboard to renew. Doesn't seem like a very great system.

Check your dashboard. I just checked mine and was able to upgrade to Platinum.

Super weird. I logged into my rundisney account early and kept refreshing every few minutes starting at 10. Never showed up. Closed out after 10+ minutes and re-signed in and there was the link. So maybe refreshing doesn't work so good. Contained myself and stuck to gold, even though Platinum was available.

Upgraded to Platinum! Refreshed around 7:09 and the link was in my account.

I panicked when you said you got in and started to register, I kept hitting the F5 until the link showed up.

And of course the email reminder came in at 10:17

Does the renewal window open at 10 am ET on the applicable day? I have a silver membership, and I'm very eager to try to get a gold membership for next year. Thank you!
