Club Room?

We have reservations for standard room at HRH 8/3-8/10/02 on the entertainment rate. I called to try and upgrade to club room, but they said it was all booked for that time period. Regular rate and entertainment rate. She said to call back, it may become available....Anyone ever have any luck with it opening up, what are the chances of upgrade at check-in???? (I'm willing to pay the difference, if it's at entertainment Club room rate).
