Club Penguin

Two of my boys want a years subscription to club penguin from Santa this year. Of course I don't like paying full price for anything....so does anyone know of a way to get it less than the $60? Do they have a sale, or do stores have it for a discounted price ever around the holidays? I can always get it at my local grocery store to get fuel points...but that does not add up to much.

I think the answer to this is unfortunately...no. My DD has been on Club Penguin for about 3 years now....and we have never seen any discounts. She sometimes receives a Club Penguin gift card for a birthday present from a friend....or at Christmas, but other than that...we shell out the $$.

I have never seen a sale or discount : ( .. we also have been on about 3 years. I keep thinking I will discontinue , but he is still playing. He asked to join a cpl of other sites, told him he will have to ditch C.P. and he chooses to keep CP everytime.

I have never seen discounts either...my DD LOVES that site, we got our younger daughter a laptop for Christmas and it is killing me to think about having to purchase 2 subscriptions a year.

Thanks ladies....that is what I thought.

I saw on Target.com they are selling the old membership/gift cards but only for one and six months....not the year so it doesn't do me any good. Plus I don't know if they still accept the old ones (before price increase). I know its a good site and my kids earn a month here or there....its just a lot to put down hoping the still play a month or two into it.

But I guess its better than the $100 lego set I buy that is built before the end of Christmas day

Heres to shopping early this year!! And my kids are not getting much at all. With a Dec Disney trip...that is their present!!
