I love love love the castle, however NOTHING beats walking to Epcot. I'd also choose a bus over the monorail all day every day. I will say I do think the monorail is neat though, it's always crowded or breaks down when we go. Plus I didn't love having to change Monorails to get to Epcot. If you do a MK based trip, I'd pick Sugarloaf or Poly CL. Personal preference as we had a less than magical RPC stay.
My favorite: BWI CL, the best staff hands down. Followed by WL or BC CL
