I currently have BC booked with FD and am considering adding CL...for anyone who has done it, is this just WAY too much food?

We will have our (then) 10 month old with us so I can see us spending a lot of time at the resort. We went to WDW in May and our park days were much shorter than they normally are , having DD in tow.
I'm wondering if the convenience of the lounge and having somewhere to go with her or my older kids for drinks and snacks is worthwhile?
I think CL is a good idea if you will be spending a lot of time at the resort. We don't stay CL every trip but when we do, it's mostly for the lounge and having another place to sit and relax instead of in the room or around the resort. The food offerings are a nice perk, but that's not the main reason we stay CL. With that said, we find the DDP to be fine with CL and will be getting it with our CL stay next summer.
He is at Chef Mickeys too!
I'm glad you said this! I was beginning to think we ate too much!!! LOL!!
Actually, my family enjoyed the DDP and CL at the BC. We liked the space to relax and regroup. We do stop for a glass of wine and a little snack before dinner, but it really is because it is a good way to get out of the room while the others are getting ready. I also used it to read when some of my family was resting in the afternoon.
Honestly, the offerings are nice but if anyone costs them out as the only value of CL, I don't see how it works out. We always purchase a DDP, and never find that it is too much food when combined with CL at any resort. WE are contemplating adding it to our August trip for our two rooms because we figure with the heat we will be using the resort more than we generally do.

. We love the DDP and don't think it's too much food with CL, so we're right there with you
. We had DDP and CL at Yacht Club a couple of years ago and I wasn't particularly impressed with the CL snacks. We had breakfast there a few times but that was about it. Even when we were at the resort we were down at the pool and it is a bit of a hassle to go back to CL and get something. Didn't think it was too much food because we didn't utilize that often. Our touring plan probably had something to do with this -- morning at the parks, midday at the resort and then somewhere for dinner around 5-6 and then back to the parks for the evening, so we were almost never at the resort when the evening appetizers were out.
