Can someone please let me know if you are contacted by a representative, prior to your vacation, if you have booked the club level at the Grand Californian?

Yes, you do receive a courtesy call. You can also call the hotel direct and they will assist you with answering any questions you may have or make reservations for you.

I would say that it is within a week of arrival, but I couldn't say for sure. They really are helpful.

I've never been contacted by a rep when I've booked GCH concierge. I get a letter or email that has the contact phone number on it, but never a personal call to me.

If I need anything ahead of time, I call Vacation Planning Services.

You're welcome! VP is very good. You can tell them all of the activities and dining things you'd like, and they will take care of the reservations for you, get your tickets for tours, etc. The concierge at GCH uses their services anyway!
