I don't think it will be worth the cost for you Lousie. As I understand it, as a family of 6 (is that what you are) you will need 2 rooms will you not? For the additional cost (probably in the region of $200) unless you planned to make full use of the lounge (breakfast, afternoon snacks, evening) then you wouldn't get your money's worth. And presumably, you will still want/need an evening meal - from what I've read, the food in the lounges isn't substantial enough to replace dinner.

Personally, I wouldn't do it just for the one night.

Have you thought about one of the kids' suites at the Universal Hotels though?

We looked at it too, and although it all looks very nice, it didn't seem worth it for just the one night, as we'd be in the parks all the time and would have no time to make the most of it :)

:goodvibes

When we booked with the glitch rate it was only about $20\night more for club, not something that we were\are interested in, even when we stayed at Homewood suites with free managers reception it wasn't something we did.
If its something you might want to do see the price 1st before making a decision.

I stayed Club Level at HRH last year. I was disappointed with the selection of food but cocktail hour was good ;). We're doing it at RPR this year.

Thanks thats pretty much what I thought but as ive never experienced it its good to hear the same thoughts from someone who has :thumbsup2

I do need 2 rooms yes and I did look into kids suites but again we need 2 the only hotel that has a room for 6 is the rpr and they call it the hospitality suite but it is more expensive than 2 rooms and as a surprise for dh and kids I think HRH suits them better.

The one issue i have with universal is the lack of provisons for keira and her gluten intolerance I wa shoping that by going club level this would ensure she at least got a good breakfast - but by the sounds of it prob not !!

I didn't make breakfast last year (due to over-indulgence at cocktail hour ) but it looks pretty good, from what I've seen/heard.
