We will be staying onsite for the first time this summer at the Universal Orlando Resort. The website shows that pets are not allowed at Club level and my husband has allergies, we have decided to upgrade. But which resort?

Which resort has the best Club Level? And why?

I would appreciate any info and suggestions.

Thank you.:)

We've only stayed at PBH club level and we enjoyed it. However, if you let the front desk know about pet allergies, they will make sure you are not put in a pet room.

Thank you for the suggestion. :) We've never stayed at a hotel/resort which allowed pets, so we're a little unsure about it. I had asked (another thread) which Tower I should request if I wanted to avoid pets and smoking and a poster was nice enough to let me know that the club level rooms are only in Tower 3 and pets are only allowed in Tower 2, so that was very reassuring.

Well, we've only stayed club level at RPR, so I can't speak for the others, but we thought RPR's was wonderful. In fact, I won a contest & got 3 comp nights in a standard room at RPR, but have opted to pay an additional fee to be upgraded to club level for upcoming June trip.

The lounge was comfortable with tables, chairs, couches, 2 TV's, & a computer with a printer. We never felt that it was overcrowded. Staff were very friendly and seemed eager to answer questions and assist with specific requests (getting us water bottles, etc). It was always neat & clean. Food was replenished whenever it got low. Always plenty of sodas, tea, coffee, etc.

Here's a thread I posted with food pics

Keep in mind these are from last June, so things may have changed a bit, but hopefully someone who's stayed more recently can comment on that.

I'll let you know after Mardi Gras.. we'll be staying at RPH Club level!!!

Thanks for the info. You have been so helpful!:thumbsup2

The photos are great!

Do you find that most people take their food back to their rooms?

No pets on club level? I didnt know that.
Well, that takes one decision off my list!
Shame though, I think we would have enjoyed the club level.

When we were there I saw a combination ~ some people took food to their rooms & others at in the lounge. I think which ever you prefer is fine.

We ate breakfast & the evening appetizers in the lounge simply because we had more room to spread out, but we sometimes took the desserts & snacks back to our room.

Great! I guess if we notice that the lounge is busy, we can just dine in our room.

Thanks again.:)

Yep - that would be no problem at all.

On our last stay I noticed a lady carrying a tray full of plates filled with food to her room each morning at breakfast time ~ probably for all the sleepy heads she was with

i voted for the club at RPH.
it is a large room, many seating places, a good variety of food and beverage offerings.

i have stayed club level more at the HRH over the years.
their lounge is the smallest in the group.
very crowded in the morning time period with not enough chairs, tables, etc to sit down at.

i have found that if you get to the lounge 30 minutes prior to it's closing, not much is available.

pbh has a nice club lounge but the only con to it for me is, not all rooms are on the club level.

rph and hrh club lounges are on the 7th floor at each hotel.
pbh is set up differently.
club rooms and lounge not necessarily on the same floor.

i have found all the TM's in each hotel's club lounge to provide excellent service to the guests.

i'm sure you will enjoy your stay no matter which hotel you book.

:lmao: I can see myself doing that a few times. We're not early risers.

Thanks for all the great info. I was wondering why RPR was chosen more than the others. I was considering PBH as well. But I do like the idea of the club rooms being on the same floor as the lounge.

By the way, do you happen to know if the club selection is the same or generally similar for all the club levels or are there distinct differences in the offerings since they all have different resort themes?

I appreciate you explaining the differences. It's very helpful.

:)

We have stayed at PBH and HRH club level and enjoyed PBH much more. Larger lounge, WAY better service, quality of food in the pm seemed at a much higher level (one night was seafood), however it's been a couple of years since HRH so that may have changed. Gorgeous view from the lounge of the bay, and drinking a glass of wine listening to the opera singers off the balcony next the lounge could not be beat. I agree that a big drawback is that the lounge is on a different level and we had quite a hike however we had requested, and got a room with a full balcony so I'm sure we could have been closer if we had asked.
