Club level at AKV

I called at 8:58 and was instantly put on hold with a Cm. I think I should have hung up and truied for another Cm!!!! UUUUUUUGGGGHHHHH

I am currently still on hold......I was told I DO NOT have an AKV contract.

I am not sure WTH is going on with customer service. But they are not giving me good vibes lately.
still on while she verifys that I am an AKV owner. beause she sees no contract.

ok now waiting on a manager as she is stating I DO NOT have a contract. to say I am peeved is putting it mildly. Truly this AKV experience with member services has been one screw up after another.

I got through right away, told the CM what I wanted, and got put on hold for 8 minutes. She came back to tell me that the room I wanted wasn't available because concierge is so limited. I told her it probably WAS available if she had put in my request 8 minutes earlier when she first answered the phone and that putting me on hold for 8 minutes probably lost the room for me. GRRRRR. She barely spoke English, too.
 
:sad2: seriuosly ??? WTH?? still on hold 14 minutes later. Safe to say my room is lost completely. she is still trying to verify my purchase. \purchased the first week, and I am looking at it right on the website. this is so frustrating it's not even funny.:confused3

ok she came back 18 minutes later and said it is not available. well it was freaking available at 8:58. I said well did you verify my contract. well yes.. but it's too late the room is gone NO kidding, Sherlock.

all I can say is these screw ups are more frequent every time I call.
 
I think it is another case of the CMs not having a clue what to do with the opening of something at AKL. THe same thing happened when trying to book the rooms the first day we could call in. The system wasn't set up yet for taking reservations at all in 2008! No points had been entered yet.

I'm trying to call back now to check again.
 

I got through. This one speaks English. She said she has to check inventory and book it right then if it is available. I said DO IT! It's a long shot though...the first one I had this morning was so slow...

Same issue I had except they didn't have a problem with my AKV ownnership and I STILL didn't get the room.
 
ARRRGGGGH... Now I got disconnected!
 
I'm on hold as well. 20 minutes on hold!!!! Told the CM what I wanted to do, she stook the info and said I'll put you on hold while I check and now 20 minutes later, I'm still waiting. This is for a vacation in April 2008. How hard can it be? Wow, she just came back!!! I got the rooms. Awesome!

I was luckier. Got through right away; I was also put on hold for a couple of minutes, but then Brian (really nice MS rep) gave me my confirmation number! :cheer2:

I did cancel a savanna view studio for Jan26-Feb.1 in case anyone is looking for one. :goodvibes

Got a very nice male Cm, sorry can't recall his name. And he did snag 2 value studios for my dates. Not club but just as good . 8 points per night!!! can't be that with a stick!!!!!:cool1:

They have to put you on hold........ Apparently the booking is controlled by the manager. So the CM gets your request and goes to the supervisor... not sure why they are doing that, but.... (My CM explained this to me, it doesn't sound like most of them are telling you why you have to be on hold!)

I got my second request so I am thrilled.

I have thought all along DVC was going to regret this. There are just so FEW rooms and so MANY members, this is just going to have people mad that they didn't get the club level.
 
Finally, an explanation! I called back a third time now that I'm at work. Couldn't call back from home, I was late enough already.

This time the CM put me on hold and another person came back online (supervisor?) The reason I can't get December 1 is that the concierge won't be open until December 4 contrary to what the letter we received said. I waitlisted for December 1 anyway, just in case that date is released into the system and no announcement is made.

How hard would it have been to tell me that the first time I called this morning?

What is all included in the club level at AKV?

Same problem here but I told the CM that I did in fact have 2 AKV contracts and then he said "Oh yes, I see them now." The member's website shows the resort name of AKV contracts as "null". I wonder if they show up the same way in MS's system and that's why some CMs have trouble finding them.
 
I called at 8:58 and got right through. We have a 1bdm SV for 12/4-7 and I asked to switch to a concierge level..same thing with SV. She said no problem and had to put me on hold to book the room. Before she did, I asked to confirm it would be a SV and she said.....they can NOT guarantee a SV because the club/concierge level rooms are spread throughout, still controlled by the CRO system and are limited...etc. All this took only 3-4 minutes and she was very polite but did say they are working with a supervisor since it is new to them as well.

We want the SV so we decided to stay with what we have. Will do the concierge some other time so we can do the sunrise safari/breakfast!

Hmm better check dvcmember web site to make sure she didn't cancel our current ressie after reading all these problems!!
 
I completely forgot to call until later today. I called and all my dates were open, so we switched to concierge.
 
today was open for just AKV owners to book , after searching , could someone please tell me when non owners may book club level .

I did as others said and called back to see if it was a date glitch. I switched to a 1 bedroom club room for the following week and it was open.

So now I will come in at the end of the week VS the beginning. I just will switch it around a little.:cool1:
